Turn an everyday sandwich into something more exciting by adding diced fruit. In the summer, add diced peaches or nectarines.
In a bowl mix tuna, diced green onion and celery, diced apple, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, seal salt and black pepper.
Spread 2 tsp of mayonnaise on both slices of bread.
Place tuna salad on one slice of bread, cover with lettuce and bread and cut in half.
