One very tasty dish that captures the flavours of fall!
Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
Place yams in a large buttered casserole dish.
In a saucepan, mix remaining ingredients except butter, breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese and bring to a boil and pour over yams.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.
Spread over casserole and continue to bake for 30 minutes.
If not brown, place under broiler until breadcrumbs are toasted brown.
