Pimento Cheese Spread

Wherever we toured in Charleston on my culinary tour this past October, we encountered this spread. It’s sooooo easy, you’ll have it ready in 5 minutes!

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese or Goat Cheese or Quark Cheese, softened
  • 4 oz. Diced Pimento Peppers
  • ½ to ¾ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ tsp Paprika
  • 1 cup Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar
  • 1 cup Finely Shredded Monterey Jack or Swiss Cheese
  • Garnish with Chopped Fresh Parsley (optional)


  1. In a bowl, stir the first six ingredients together.

  2. Add the shredded cheeses and mix well.

  3. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

  4. Serve with crackers, baguette slices and vegetable crudités.

  5. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
